Price
At Bébou, our goal is to provide a quality service at a fair price compared to existing alternatives.
Our rates always include delivery and return fees to make life easier for our customers.
We also know that personalization is important to our clients. Therefore, our aim is to offer a price that allows parents, if they wish, to complete their child’s wardrobe with donations or favorite clothes without breaking the bank. Knowing that Bébou’s solution covers all the essential needs of children.
Compared to second-hand purchases, our goal is to offer a maximum price of 2 CHF per rented item per month. This way, we remain consistent with prices practiced in the second-hand market.
As for buying new, it simply no longer makes sense given the prices compared to the duration of use during the first years.
As an example, comparing with the contents of a maxi box in size 68 in mass retail, based on average minimum prices observed and tested:
1 pajamas cost CHF 10.-, which makes CHF 100.- for 10 pieces
1 bodysuit costs CHF 5.-, which makes CHF 50.- for 10 pieces
1 outfit or set (pants/skirt and sweater) costs CHF 25, which makes CHF 175 for 7 pieces
1 sleep sack costs CHF 20 to 40 depending on the season, so about
CHF 60
for 2 pieces
1 long-sleeved jacket costs CHF 15.- so 30.- for 2 pieces
7 pairs of socks costs CHF 14.-
1 hat costs CHF 5, so CHF 15 for 3 pieces
This totals approximately CHF 440 for this set of clothes, which a baby will use for between 1 and 2 months maximum depending on their age.
At Bébou, this same assortment included in your subscription costs between three and five times less depending on the rental duration and can be returned free of charge when the size no longer fits.
